utoledo.edu Goes Mobile

The recently relaunched utoledo.edu not only reflects the new UToledo brand, it also has gone mobile first, meeting our visitors where they are — on their phones.

We experienced a 42% increase in mobile visits to the UToledo website from academic year 2017-18 to 2018-19. And as we strategically focus our outreach on digital marketing campaigns, we’ve seen a more than 300% bump in mobile traffic on the admission website during the same time period.

Our mobile-first strategy offers visitors clean fonts, mobile-friendly menus and an accessibility compliant web experience. We appreciate the ongoing collaboration with partners across campus as they update their website menus and content to work best in the new mobile format with streamlined and focused page topics and clear calls to actions.
